ReplyDeleteI lived alone for one summer in college. It was on campus in a shady part of town, so I freaked out most of the time.
ReplyDeleteI loved the cabinet space and not having to clean though!
I LOVE living along for all the same reasons you stated and more! Leaving dishes in the sink for a few days - great! Laying in bed all day b/c I don't feel like doing anything - nice! Not worrying about my "stuff" being touched or eating, etc. Wonderful!!

I agree with basically all of your 7 reasons. As a former only child and alone-liver, these experiences have ruined me. I'm not a great roommate. :)

ReplyDeleteI haven't lived alone much but the short times that I did, I really enjoyed it. Living with my hubby is tons of fun (sounds weird, but it is) so I like that the best :)
What a good post! I love your list too and am glad that someone else enjoys living alone as well. :) I am also totally guilty of working out in the living room (yay, Zumba videos) and walking around without pants. I agree so much on that one - nothing like not having to wear a full outfit around your house.
